The foundations of Alva Golf Course namely, Longbank Park was first leased from Miss Caroline Johnstone in the spring of 1900 for the formation of a golf course, Few people could have imagined that a century later Alva Golf Club in Stirling would still be going strong at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Scotland.

Braehead Golf Club. Members are justifiably proud of their course and clubhouse facilities, however, the Club's greatest asset is the membership itself. Perhaps as a result of the manner of its birth, Braehead Golf Club remains the preserve of the ordinary working man and woman. Visitors frequently remark upon the friendliness of the welcome which they receive from members and employees alike, while many members are happy to have opted to join Braehead for the same reason, having first 'tested the water' at other Clubs.

• This golf break is based on a two night stay
• One round of golf each day at one of the above golf courses,
• shared accommodation in a twin/double room with full Scottish breakfast
• Dinner is from our normal three course menu served in the Terraces Bistro.
• If you are part of a larger group you may consider to book one of our private dining rooms.
