Bridge of Allan Golf Club and course is 10 minutes from the Terraces Hotel Stirling Scotland. Here you are assured of a memorable golfing experience on our nine hole course designed by Old Tom Morris when the Club was established in 1895. Our course is acknowledged as being particularly picturesque, offering magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, including Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, the Perthshire hills and to the west Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps beyond. The course is kept in excellent condition and offers the opportunity for golf all year round. Being well drained it is rarely closed due to poor weather conditions.

Dunblane Golf Course is only 15 minutes from the Terraces Hotel Stirling Scotland. This quality parkland course provides an enjoyable and testing challenge for golfers of all abilities.  Designed by Major Cecil Hutchinson, the Amateur Champion, and the Open Champion, James Braid, its lush fairways and manicured greens, together with wonderful views in all directions.

GOLF EVENTS IN SCOTLAND

2013 Golf Open from the 14th to 21st JULY - The Open Championship returns to Muirfield in July 2013 which will be the 142nd Open Championship. Once again the worlds' greatest golfers will gather to do battle for the famous Claret Jug on the east coast of Scotland and one of the country's finest links courses. Past winners of The Open at Muirfield have included Ernie Ells most recently in 2002 and Sir Nick Faldo in 1992.
